Greetings In Christ from The Lutheran Church of Martha and Mary
Martha and Mary is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. While we are a small congregation, we are part of a fellowship of five million Lutherans in the United States, working together to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We live out our Christian mission following the pattern of our namesakes, Martha and Mary. Martha and Mary were friends of Jesus, who each modeled an important aspect of discipleship. Martha served, while Mary worshiped the Lord by listening to his teaching. We believe that we are called to do the same.
We come together as the people of God to give praise and worship, and to learn God's will for our lives. Then, nourished and equipped, we set out into the world, to serve those in need. If this sounds like the way of life that you have been seeking, we welcome your participation.
We invite you to join us any Sunday at either 8:30 AM, for a traditional service of Holy Communion, or at 11:00 AM, for a more contemporary Communion Service (Summer Worship time, 9:30 AM). Either way, we know that you will be blessed, and we will be blessed by your presence.
If we can be of any service to you, please let us know.
In Christ's Love, Peace and Joy
Pastor Gretchen Winkler
